1. Product Descriptions
Photographs on our Web site are provided to assist you in identifying the pieces you require. We endeavour to ensure that the digital presentations are as accurate as possible, but please be aware that some variation may exist between the colour displayed on your monitor and the actual colour of the item in question.

We endeavour to ensure that the digital presentations are as accurate as possible, but please be aware that some variation may exist between the colour displayed on your monitor and the actual colour of the item in question.

2. Formation of Contract
The contract is created upon delivery of the Goods-Product. All contracts to supply are made under Scottish, British and European law.
The receipt sent as an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order. Prior to our acceptance of an order, we may need to verify relevant information. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation and for any reason. We also reserve the right to limit the order quantity on any item and event refuse service to any buyer without prior notification.(If the event we will receive payment and decline supply of product or service, payment will be prompt returned to Buyer via same source as paid).

Quotations given are in good faith but are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply goods for which we have received payment, we will inform you of this and provide you full and prompt refund. In the event that goods are advertised at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, regardless of whether you have received an order confirmation email, and whether your payment has been received. In such an event we shall of course provide you with full and prompt refund.

3. Warranty
we offer minimum of 1 years' warranty for any of our products except mobile phone battery, where we provide 6 months warranty and memory cards with 60 days warranty as.

30 days limited warranty for GPS software (functionality) we provide only for full versions of navigation software supplied with GPS products purchased via CARINAV MULTIMEDIA Shop. We do not provide any warranty for software, data or applications stored on memory cards and any other form of memory media storage.

Reclamation: Contact us by Email sent to Sales@carinav.co.uk where we need following information: CARINAV Invoice No, Customer name and address,
Model Product, Product Number(if applicable) date of delivery, even details about problem and where is possible please provide picture with the problem you reclaiming.

The picture may be help-full for manufacturer; some problems may be resolved online.

The item's warranty becomes invalid:
1. If damaged is caused by: Undue wear tear, dirt, misused, improper installation or operation, neglect, accident.
2. If warranty seal was removed or damaged.
3. If the item was opened, removed any parts of the item or repaired by unauthorized person.
Please read carefully our policies and sale terms before placing your order. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

Notice: It is important for you to inform us before returning any products to us for any reason.
We will do our best to help you and correct any matters you are not happy with our products or service.

Warranty Limitations:
The warranty does not cover driver incompatibility, normal wear, damage due to accidents, physical force, water, fire, power surge and other miss-uses or incorrect fitting. 12 month warranty is covering the goods installed by professional fitters where is applicable. Please keep your invoice when professional installation company fits the product to your vehicle as proof of installation.

a. CARINAV guarantees that the goods supplied to the Customer will be free from defects caused by faulty materials or poor workmanship for a period of minimum of 12 months. Under this warranty CARINAV will, at its option, repair or give a replacement of same quality or may issue credit note to the Customer for any Products found to be defective.

b. The Products have been used in an appropriate manner and/or as prescribed in the operating instructions (if any), and have been installed by the professional installation company. And/or have not been damaged by misuse/water/fire/over-voltages. (Where is applicable)

c. The defective Product is returned to CARINAV at the Customers expense. CARINAV will full refund returning expenses to customer only if goods will be returned due to Manufacturer or CARINAV issues or damaged by transportation, also with respect to customer rights return goods-customer applied within 7 days after delivery, details in section Return Policy in CARINAV MULTIMEDIA shop.

d. Examination by Manufacturer of such Products discloses its satisfaction that such defects exist and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage installation or handling or by repair or alteration or faulty installation

e. The Product not having been modified or repaired otherwise than by Manufacturer.

f. The Customer shall pay to CARINAV the cost (as certified by CARINAV) of any examination of such goods as a result of which the Supplier denies liability.

g. GPS Maps and software. Actual voice and display language depends on GPS software package)

our models is compatible with most brands of GPS software - however hardware specific software such as Garmin may not run on our units. We may provide the GPS-enabled hardware only, not the software (depend on model, the information that the product excluded GPS Navigation software is clearly stated for each product where is applicable). We provide no warranty or customer support regarding GPS software. We cannot provide downloads/links/advice regarding GPS software. Any software installation you undertake should be performed or supervised by a professional. We may supply with the units a Demo or Evaluation version of navigation software without any warranty regarding functionality of this type of software.

Received Damaged Product?
We check all our items before sending out. If you received a broken item, please keep all the package material, take photos and send to us immediately. We only accept these cases reported within 7 days since delivered date.

1. / Pricing and Payment CARINAV MULTIMEDIA - all prices are in Pounds Sterling. Prices in any other currency (EUR or USD) may be displayed in basket, will have only information character and may be slightly different from current exchange rate. Full payment is required prior to dispatch. We accept the payment via PayPal, credit or debit card processed by PayPal, Google checkout or other Carinav Multimedia registered payment processors and cheques drawn on a U.K. bank. Cheques must be made payable to "CARINAV MULTIMEDIA".

Goods will be supplied /ordered after full payment will be received on to our Accounts. Cheque: order paid by cheque will be supplied, processed after cheque will be processed on to our account (Also mean that delivery time starts when cheque will be cashed).

2. / Delivery time - Orders - usually shipped within 2 working days after full payment has been paid on to our account. If products are sold and require reorder from manufacturers or if products are only for order, delivery to customer address we provide between 4 -10 working days after receiving payment. Special products and for order only (Special car Radios and other customized products will be delivered in time range 7 to 15 working days. Order cancellation will not be accepted and product will be delivered. (Other delays - delays caused by freight providers or supplier, for any reasons: for example by national and bank holidays) The delivery time will be adjusted by delayed time.
3. / Damaged or missing products: If any package is visibly damaged upon delivery by the courier. Please accept the package and make a note made on the carrier delivery record. Please notify CARINAV immediately so that a claim can be filed with the courier. Please hold the merchandise and the original packaging for the courier's inspection and investigation. Failure to take the above actions may risk the receipt of proper compensation. Damaged or missing products are subject to insurance up to the customs invoice value.

4. / Return Policy A. Cancellations In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations you may cancel your order within 7 days from delivery. Paid price will be fully promptly refunded after the item will be returned on to Carinav addressee. More information in Return Policy CARINAV MULTIMEDIA shop. The item/s must be returned under condition as described in section Return of Goods and Equipment. Some Product in CARINAV shop should be special or customised. For custom made products, we may apply for

Cancellations time:
1. Prior to Factory shipment (Customized products) (Usually within 24 hours from time when payment has been received on to Carinav account) (Working days exclude weekends and public holidays). Notification of cancellation must be in written form (by email or our contact form) or by telephone (require additional written form confirmation). When order is cancelled, according to the procedure described above the purchase and shipping costs will be refunded to Buyer. This refund will be made up to 10 working days. Refund will be made via the same medium as used for payment, or by cheque. (E.g. cheque or credit card)

2. Prior to shipment from CARINAV(Customised products) Charge of 30% of the item purchasing price may apply to cover cost with returning goods back in to Manufacturer or restocking. Buyer will receive information about value which may be taken and will have right for final decision before will confirm cancellation. Remaining amount will be refunded within 10 working days when we will know final expenses with item/s returning back to factory or restocking. Refund will be made via the same medium as was used for payment (e.g. cheque or credit card)

3. If buyer choose to cancel order later (within 7 days from date of delivery, for customized product) the goods must be returned to the CARINAV Office. Returned goods must be suitably packed to help ensure their safe return - we require use the original packing for this purpose. Charge of 30% of the item purchase price may be taken in order to cover expense with returning goods back to Manufacturer or restocking. Buyer will be informed about value which may be taken and buyer will have right for final decision before will sent goods back to CARINAV Office. All returned goods will be tested and checked. Remaining amount will be refunded to buyer within 10 working days when we will know final expenses for item/s returning back to factory. Refund will be made via the same medium as was used for payment(e.g. cheque or credit card)

Cancellation will not be accepted if returned goods are damaged(except claims to transport-freight providers)

Notification of cancellation

should be sent via email to sales@carinav.co.uk or by post to CARINAV MULTIMEDIA, 125 Tom Wood Ash Lane, Upton, Pontefract, and WEST YORKSHIRE WF9 1LH, United Kingdom. You must have notified us before send the item/s. Without notification any items returned will not be refunded.


B. Return Repairing or Replacement
Time: As we send back the defective item to the factory, it normally takes time. It depends on the complexity of the technical problem. Please be patient during the time for repairing.
We recommend to our buyers leave installation of all products to professional installer. Installation fee is NOT included if replacement or repairing is taken.
We will do our best to help you and correct any matters you are not happy with.
All our items are comprehensive tested by our certified technicians before shipment.
Mail us immediately once you find the products have any problem.
*Remark: email us if you find any technical problem during installation.

Most of the problems are because of misuse or incorrect installation. PLEASE check carefully before sending the item(s) back as we will not be responsible for any shipping cost if we find the product is not faulty as you described.

THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THE DEFECTIVENESS IS FROM OUR TECHNICIAN'S REPORT.

Return of Goods and Equipment

Return of Item to Factory (for repairing) must be notified to us by email and back confirmed Carinav. The Product will be returned to Carinav at the Buyer expense.

All Products must be returned in perfect condition. In same condition as sent to buyer. Dirty, broken, damaged or missing parts and documents / manuals, the goods shall be returned back to the customer and no refund or exchange will be given any material including the official boxes or manuals that are not returned in original condition will incur a charge according to CARINAV. Fee, of £ 20.00 may apply per accessory item returned in bad condition or missing.

After time of 7 days described in section Return Policy, return is possible for defective items described in Warranty. All warranties will be void on items that are insufficiently or inaccurately packaged. For buyer protection, please insure the returned package(s); provide tracking reference, proof of delivery and insurance. Items that do not reach us, we cannot refund or attend to. In addition, a copy of your invoice - proof of professional fitted device should include. If customer do not provide the fitting invoice, we reserve the right not accept item return for repairing under warranty.


RETURNS and INSURANCE.
Please note to return the item, it must be insured, it is the senders responsibility to make sure it is insured and reaches us safely. It must be sent recorded delivery or signed for, or have a form of tracking / delivery proof. We keep which option open for the best price when you take it to the post office. Please ask the post office for advice on sending at the best price with insurance. All returned items postage needs to be paid by the sender.

Support - Repairing - Parts for items with lost warranty or after warranty.

Please mail us quote you need and we will ask Manufacturer for solution, delivery condition, availability, price and other.
